Dr. Kenneth Nogacek graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine in 1989. After earning his dental degree, Dr. Nogacek served in the U.S. Navy for five years. He is a veteran of the first Gulf War and was deployed to northern Iraq as part of humanitarian operations to aid the Kurdish refugees.
Dr. Nogacek has completed post-graduate training in endodontics, oral surgery, and TMJ disorders. He has received his certification in sedation dentistry through the Dental Organization for Conscious Sedation (DOCS) and continues to take advanced courses through DOCS. He routinely treats anxious patients with extremely safe sedation techniques.
Dr. Nogacek trained in the placement and restoration of dental implants and is a former implant instructor at NYU. He earned a Fellowship Award in Implant Dentistry from the California Implant Institute and the ICOI (International Congress of Oral Implantology). He is a member of the New London County Dental Society, CSDA, ADA, Docs, and the ICOI.
Dr. Nogacek and his wife, who is also a dentist in the practice, reside in Ledyard with their great dane and two cats. He is an active member in his community and St. David’s Episcopal Church. In his spare time, he enjoys camping, hunting, taking family trips, being a spectator at his daughters’ horse-riding events and is an avid fan of the Pittsburgh Steelers.
